Mi Famlia

Clan Alexy
It's all gotta start somewhere

Meet Me:

(yes I'm pregnant here, it's pretty much my normal state of being... so just get used to this look.)

Just your average mid-30-something mom o' 6 kidlets.
I read, I cook, I teach (hopefully?), I'm attempting this whole knitting thing... And I throw gang signs. Wut Up!?!
I never thought I'd have kids ... .... Then I met this guy ~~~

(Hubs) Bill:
(He doesn't take many pictures, so you get another of me. Bonus! Annnd I'm not pregnant here. Double Bonus!!)

I like him. I'd even go so far to say that I love the ever-liven' daylights outta the guy. God blessed me sooooooo much when he put us two together.
Hubs works, does graphic-al, design-y, website-y stuff.
Anyway, somehow this awesome fantastical guy ended up with me. And then we ended up with 6 kids. Crazy, I know. But it's how we roll.

Child nĂºmero uno. Donal:
(He's obviously too cool for school, maybe that's the reason we homeschool...)

D will be 10 this year -- My first in double digits!!!!
He's our first. He was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 18 months old, it doesn't stop him. He doesn't let it hinder what he wants.
D's an avid reader. He loves video games. He just started Judo, and is rocken that out as well.
And he's handsome as all get-out.

Child Dos, Kailyn:
(This awesome fantab photo is courtesy of Val Cannon Photography )

She is a firecracker. She is on Go! Go! Go! mode pretty much always. She's just like me when I was her age, and pretty much looks just like I did. And talks just as much...
K turns 8 this May!
Kailyn is kind, giving, and has a very good sense of justice. She loves all things crafts and art and cooking/baking.

Meet our Third, Billy:
(awwww another from Val )

Another child always on Go!!!!!! mode. This boy has energy & laughter to spare. He was born laughing, true story. Well, close enough to a true story anyway.
Billy will be all of 6 years old in May.
Billy loves pretty much anything that his older brother likes, but mostly he loves all things outdoors - where he can run, climb trees, and show the world how fast his feet are.

Child 4, Emily:
(Can you guess who took this picture?)

Or Emily Jane, cause we named her awesomely like that.
Emily is another laugher, giggler, rambunctious child. I often joke that Billy & Emily are my twins - even though they're 21 months apart. Where you find one, you'll probably find the other.
Emily just turned the ripe old age of 4. :):)
She loves (besides her brother Billy) unicorns, ponies, doing her school work & just being outside.

Child 5, Julianne:
(Look! Actually got one w/the watermark on there!)

Oh Jules. Where to start with 2 year old Jules. She loves to run, she loves to color, she loves to be outside - alone is completely fine to her. For a child who just honked at us for the first year & a half (seriously, find a goose, listen to it honk & you'll know what Jules sounded like for close to 24 months), she is extremely well versed now with letting us know exactly what she wants & how it should go down.

Annnnd Babe #6

Besides being directionally challenged in finding his/her 'head down' position... Yeah, this little one is easy. Just a steady diet of Frank's Red Hot Sauce and everything is peachy.

( Val catching us in full swing family action)

And there you have it. The Alexy Clan as we stand now. Things always change, so who knows how long this About Us section will be all current and factual. But here we are. Love us!
